Flying Lotus is by far one of my favorite bands. Created by Steven Ellison, "Flylo" can most accurately be described as experimental/alternative techno beats. His best albums are "Cosmogramma" and "Pattern + Grid World". Extremely unconventional, kind of weird, but very awesome. For adventurous listeners only.

Flying lotus isn't really a band, it's more of a person...that's kind of like saying Pink Floyd is one of my favorite guitarists :P
