Mount Kimbie

This band is rad, just discovered them. I have been bumping their CD "Crooks and Lovers" for about a week now. They are catchy and easily digestible. If you want a quick dose, "Carbonated" and "Mayor" are their best songs.

I have been getting very into dubstep lately. It is super-intense techno, which is best when NOT in super house/club form, in my opinion. This band called Skream is rad. A little too hardcore for me sometimes, but occasionally they remix something in a ridiculous way, or feature a great voice (as in the tracks below). Enjoy

I have never been a huge James Blake fan. His EPs aren't very accessible and require diligent listening. However his latest release is simply a work of art. Titled "James Blake", the album is slow-paced yet bumpin'. He masterfully texturizes each song with layers of effects. Check it out.
